Meet J.D. Watson
J.D. Watson is a Constitutional advocate and Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force (USAF). He worked for several Fortune 500 companies after college, including Verizon Wireless and Dell, Inc., upon graduating from the University of Alabama, where he majored in Communications. J.D. was born in Birmingham, AL, and moved to the Middle Tennessee area at age 5, growing up primarily in Franklin, TN.
J.D. became interested in public policy at an early age, and determined soon thereafter that he would join the military someday, following in the footsteps of both of his grandfathers. His views on public policy were shaped largely by his parents and their stories of years of viewing racial injustices they had seen growing up in the Southeast United States during the 50s, 60s and 70s.
J.D. associates himself as a Constitutionalist and Passionate Moderate. He is currently pursuing his Master’s in Military Intelligence studies, and resides in the metropolitan Washington, D.C area. His wife is a prior-enlisted member of the United States Army, currently serving in the USAF as a chaplain.

Stop Feeding our broken political system
Looking back, I see the shifts in my journey from confused teenager swayed by my left-leaning and politically-biased teachers, to an over-zealous Republican that thought his party could do no wrong and wish I could have a conversation with both younger versions of myself.
I would challenge them to find better sources of information other than those within their immediate circle, and to be wary of accepting anything at face value. I would challenge them to understand that everyone has an agenda and realize that few people in Washington D.C or the media can actually be trusted.
